Solenn Heussaff
Who’s that girl on the cover? Yes, she the one, that sexy survivor of the Survivor Philippines Celebrity challenge. Though she didn’t make it – she was one of two left in the challenge – she made it in another field, which is acting. Starting out at as a fashion model, with a degree in Fashion Designing from Paris, Solenn now conquers new heights in her first movie project called “My Valentine Girls”, starring Richard Gutierrez. Not expecting her career path to change after Survivor Philippines, she is still in that state of shock with her new-found fame. It seems like she has garnered more endorsements than the other celebrities who joined the same contest. Her face is splashed all over EDSA with her endorsements, and now she has offers to jumpstart a singing career by having her own CD. Forbes Park did not raise all their kids to be spoiled because Solenn remains simple, expresses eagerness to learn whatever she’s into, and admits her weak points. Knowing she can’t speak Tagalog fluently, she pushes herself to learn the language with her coach. She even asks Richard Gutierrez to help her out on how to say her lines perfectly. This is one actress who is serious with whatever road she takes.
It’s only right that we have Solenn as our first cover girl for our “first” issue. We’re both walking on new grounds, she with her blooming career, and us, with our new look. We’re both starting fresh, eager to discover new things, and willing to learn along the way. Like it or not, Solenn is here to stay, and so is Where Magazine. Like her, we are survivors. Like her, we like to put our best foot forward. And yes, there’s really nowhere to go but up. Watch out for Solenn, the newest “IT” girl in the industry. Now watch out for us, as we become your favorite travel magazine.
